My MA project...

I have a lot of difficulties about unit 2 and the MPP!!! I still really haven’t found an area I want to work with. I have tried to sort out what kind of design I want to use, and made some info graphics about. Now I “just” need to figure out which problem I want to “solve”. I find it bloody hard to define that!

How about you?

  1. I am in the process of reading loads and taking loads of photos, not entirely sure where this will be going but Paul said to think of it as a series of small projects about the same thing, which seems less daunting.

I know what my project will be about I just don't know what it is going to be, OR if it is actually gonna be of any relevance what so ever!!

  2. Louise I think a lot of people are feeling the same! Myself included! It's a lot of pressure to decide on one area to work on for 6months.

I am trying to decide based on where I might want to work at the end of this, and what design I enjoy most. A lot of design that I take from the internet has an element of humor in it so I am trying to focus on that, no idea where I'm going with it though.

  3. Yes Gemma I have thought about that as well (where I want to work after my MA) My interest is very much in social/service design (like IDEO or http://www.hatchandbloom.com) But it’s more the issue to actually decide the subject! As you say 6 months is a lot of time working on one project! I think I might go to do something about the problem with bottled water. But then I saw this brief (http://www.designtoimprovelife.dk/index.php?option=com_content_custom&view=article&id=452&catid=27&Itemid=287)
and can't decide if I should go for that one... Ha ha ha what a mess :-)
